'Redheads, find your perfect Match' is a part of my Twisted Tale series which currently includes seven A3 watercolor paintings of relatively mundane objects with a ‘twist’. Each work features abnormal additions into the subject matter, changing the predetermined purpose of each item and forming an irrational fantasy among the series. The works play with the idea of belonging as each piece embodies a discordant feature. Themes of addiction and desire surface throughout the series as common vices are drawn upon.The sub-series ‘Marine Martini’ is comprised of two works that complement each other in Twisted Tale. These works bring the ocean into the bar, making a play on the craze of exotic cocktails.
 
‘Redheads, find Your Perfect Match’ gives an ulterior purpose to the elementary existence of the everyday matchstick. In this artwork the inanimate matchsticks have been brought to life in a lustful display.
