'Marlbeans' is a part of my Twisted Tale series which currently includes seven A3 watercolor paintings of relatively mundane objects with a ‘twist’. Each work features abnormal additions into the subject matter, changing the predetermined purpose of each item and forming an irrational fantasy among the series. The works play with the idea of belonging as each piece embodies a discordant feature. Themes of addiction and desire surface throughout the series as common vices are drawn upon.
 
The Artworks ‘Ciggie Salad’ and ‘Marlbeans’ work together as a pair crossing the worlds of healthy and deleterious habits.
